Brizzly is a cool bear, but still a young cub.

I got access to brizzly.com recently. I love Google Reader, and a number of the ex-google reader people are working on it. First, I am not a twitter dude, to much talk, not enough content. Brizzly is attacking that a little bit, when it sees a video or a picture, it embeds them inline. I like that but I don’t follow enough people sharing videos, and pictures to make it useful to me. One thing I love is the static sides, and center scroll. The sides stay still and center scrolls down the middle, and its an infinite scroll. Chris Wetherell calls this pegs. As Chris points out in his blog post, this will be useful to get advertisers, you can guarantee some amount of time on screen. I will definitely have to copy that at some point in time.
When I first saw google reader, its first version, I didn’t get it either. I used it but couldn’t get my head around how it organized things. On its second iteration, a light bulb went off. I have been a devout power user ever since. I think brizzly, just needs to go through a revision or two. Also I could probably find more people who are sharing content, and then brizzly would be a great way to consume content.
